Does HPTC accept medical insurance?

We accept the following insurances: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Cigna, Harvard Pilgrim, MassHealth, MGB Health Plan, United, and Wellpoint. We will also be accepting Fallon Health starting 5/1/25. We plan to accept additional insurance providers in the coming weeks and months in order to improve access for our community.

Can I submit for reimbursement to my insurance?

We can provide you with a superbill to submit to your medical insurance so you can request reimbursement for physical therapy services. HEP Check-Ins as well as Weekly Movement Groups are not eligible for insurance reimbursement.

Is there a waitlist to begin physical therapy?

We are pleased to announce that there is no waitlist at this time for physical therapy!

Do I need a referral for physical therapy?

For those using insurance, it depends on your plan. If you are unsure, you can verify with your insurance provider. For self-pay patients, referrals are not necessary but are always welcome.
